Update: Main Plan closes to New Employees on January 1, 2025

The NDPERS Board voted and approved January 1, 2025, as the implementation date for the closure of the Main Retirement Plan to new employees first enrolled on or after that date. These new employees will be required to join a newly created Defined Contribution Plan.

NDPERS continues to work on the implementation plan and will continue to send updates closer to the implementation date of January 1, 2025.
