The NDPERS Board consists of eleven members and acts as the governing body to oversee numerous North Dakota retirement systems including Public Employees, Judges, Highway Patrol, National Guard, Public Safety, Job Service as well as the Uniform Group Insurance Program, the 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, the Retiree Health Insurance Credit Program, and the Flexible Compensation Program. In addition, three of the elected members are selected by the Board to serve on the State Investment Board (SIB).

Board Subcommittees

Board members serve on committees to review specific programs, projects, or issues and make recommendations to the Board. The Board of Trustees consists of the following committees:
