Welcome to the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS). NDPERS manages numerous retirement and insurance benefits for employees employed by the state of North Dakota.
As part of your onboarding, your employer will share all the benefits available to you. You will also receive a physical welcome letter from NDPERS with key information such as your NDPERS member ID and a list of eligible benefits.
As a new hire, be sure to enroll on time to make the most of your NDPERS benefits.
How do I complete my enrollments?
We encourage you to complete your enrollments through NDPERS Member Self Service (MSS). You will use the NDPERS member ID on your welcome letter when creating your MSS account for the first time. Once you are logged in, MSS will display what benefits you are eligible for, and you can complete your enrollments right on MSS.
Optional: Members may complete their enrollments by reading the New Hire Guide and submitting printed Forms. Notice that a wet signature is required on all printed forms.
